What is the biblical solution to the addiction of power? Prayer!
A leader who is not in constant conversation with the Father is a ravenous beast in civil disguise. Prayer makes us human. The lack of prayer turns us into "roaring lions and evening wolves" (Read Zephaniah 3:3).
The only antidote to power is standing in His presence – often.

Thank you for this gentle reminder…. I need this often…. Honestly I love power the more I have it the more I want it and this I know is not the Biblical model… I need to constantly crucify it on the cross and continue to exhibit the washing of the feet model by our Lord Jesus Christ…. Am on a journey and am learning as I go…. God has been a good teacher…. Thanks once again for this post…
