“God’s work done God’s way, will never lack God’s supply”

“God’s work done God’s way, will never lack God’s supply” – Hudson Taylor

Hudson Taylor, the missionary to China who founded the China Inland Mission (now OMF) experienced God’s miraculous provision many times during his missionary sojourn in China.

And out of that experience, he profoundly said “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply”.

In the same manner George Mueller of Bristol, UK (who set-up and managed an orphanage that cared for over 10,000 children during his lifetime), similarly experienced God’s miraculous provision again and again.

On some occasions the bread for the children’s breakfast only arrived that very morning, because they had no money to buy bread and God moved someone to provide for them (who donated the bread without being told of this need).

In Luke 9:3, we this truth played out magnificently. In this verse we see Jesus specifically forbids His disciples from providing for themselves what any journeyman will require as essential necessities.

Why? Because when the Master send you, He will provide for you. Whether it is manna which will fall from the heavens or the hospitality of those He will appoint to care for you, “His work done in His way will never lack His provision”

Have you ever experienced this in your life?
