Do you know that faith and panic are mutually exclusive?

Do you know that faith and panic are mutually exclusive?

Whenever we encounter situations that seem difficult, unbearable or overwhelming, our natural instinct is to panic!

And panic paralyses our thinking. We lose our bearings. We feel unstable being tossed to and fro in our mind.

And the antidote to this panic-paralysis is to determinedly practice faith. And faith is the deep assurance that God is in control – even when it doesn’t make sense to us!

Martin Lloyd-Jones beautifully captured this truth when he said “Faith is the refusal to panic”.

Indeed, faith is the deliberate and intentional refuse to succumb to the spirit of panic and fear.

The next time panic attacks you, try this principle – it works!
