Do you want to be like the prophets of old?
In Luke 6;23, Jesus reminds us that the prophets of old often suffered rejection by their own people or nation.
And when this happens to us, He is asking us to leap for joy – to do a gig dancing and rejoicing!!
Human rejection is nothing unusual for those who want to love, serve and obey the Lord like the prophets of old.
In fact it is to be expected! The more you obey the Lord or be His spokesperson, the more you can expect a push back!
Being a prophet will not make you popular celebrity! But are you yet willing to pay the price to be one?
